Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) might be on their way to creating a cohesive family. Abby found it difficult to move on after her split from Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), but she seems to be moving on now. Since Devon and Abby have rekindled their romance, they are feeling closer. Something about their relationship makes them feel secure in each other’s arms. Devon had never imagined that he would love fatherhood so much
Of course, a significant factor in Abby and Devon’s compatibility is Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (River and Rainn Ware). Abby can’t help but feel like things are coming together whenever Devon talks about Dominic with such love in his heart.
Devon admires Abby for being such a fantastic mother to Dom and shares the same sense of simple security. Fans of Y&R are aware of how significantly co-parenting has altered their relationship. Being Dominic’s parents is the one thing they love most in the world.
Dom is growing quickly, so perhaps it’s time to start planning for the future of this family. In the upcoming months, Abby could be forced to ask herself that question. Abby and Devon are probably going to make their relationship official and move in together sooner or later. Devon could believe they can establish a cohesive family, complete with a new baby brother or sister for Dominic, and go beyond co-parenting.

Devon will find that spending time with Abby and Dom is a much-needed sanctuary, so he could wish to add a new addition to their happy family. Also, he can’t ignore the fact that he is just a godfather to Dominic although technically, he’s the biological dad. He may soon want a new baby who’s biologically and legally his.
Apart from the new baby drama, we’re still waiting for the revelation about Dominic’s biological dad. Devon wishes to be with Dom and Abby but if they hadn’t been a package deal, would he still desire her as much?
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), Devon’s biological father, is another factor. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Abby’s mother, is in store for a tremendous surprise. Conflict may arise in their interactions with Tucker and Ashley if Devon and Abby are in complete agreement on every aspect of their little family.
