Conner Floyd Reveals Real Reason Why His & Sharon Case’s Chemistry Is Off The Charts

Greg Rikaart returns to Days of Our Lives | Does this mean he is leaving Y&R?
How many of you have watched Greg Rikaart in Days of Our Lives? He joined the NBC daytime soap in 2018, playing the role of Leo Stark, a master of stirring up troubles. The latest report states that he is returning to Days to reprise his role, which has fans wondering what will happen to his character, Kevin Fisher, on Young and the Restless. Will he leave Genoa City? Let us find out.
Greg Rikaart announced his return to Days on Twitter
Y&R star Greg Rikaart announced his return to Days last month. He retweeted a video from Days’ official account where Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) could be seen giving away a major update relating to the forthcoming returns.
In the teaser, Chad said that two of his friends, Sonny and Will, were returning to Salem. He anxiously added that Leo Stark was also returning with them.
Oh how you tease, Chadwick. I’m so excited for Leo’s return to Salem. Great stuff ahead! #Days https://t.co/qvzb2p73PI

“If the promo is any indication, it looks like he’ll be clashing plenty with Chad, Will, and Sonny — and possibly even tearing their friendship apart!” Soaps.com teased.
While it sounds like fun to Days fans, Rikaart’s fans from Y&R are eager to find out what will happen to Kevin Fisher on the CBS daytime. These fans have taken to Twitter to express their concern about the character. However, Rikaart has decided not to respond to anyone.
While Y&R is yet to reveal what’s in store for Rikaart’s alter ego Kevin Fisher, they’ve confirmed that a new actress is to join the soap this March. General Hospital alum Kelsey Wang has been picked to play the role of Allie in Y&R, and spoilers tease that she is set to romance an eligible bachelor in town.
Greg Rikaart has an extended stint at Young and the Restless
As per Soap Opera Digest’s February issue, Rikaart has an extended stint at Y&R. “I’m still there. I’m there indefinitely. I’m having more fun now than ever,” he told Digest.
You may know soap operas tend to film ahead of time. Y&R usually tapes four to six weeks ahead of airdate while Days tapes months in advance. Now, since we’ve already seen Rikaart’s teaser for Days, it’s obvious that he has already pulled double duties – we just did not realize.

Speaking of double duties, you may know Rikaart had a few projects to look after, outside of Y&R, in the recent past. He might have had limited scenes on Days but he was not far from Salem. In 2021, he reprised Leo in Days’ web spinoff, Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem, and also in a Holiday movie, Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas.
Rikaart made limited appearances on the Y&R canvas during the period but he did not entirely leave the show. Apparently, he won’t be leaving Y&R this time as well.

The role of Kevin Fisher has never been recast to this day
In the soap world, where storylines could be dragged for years and years, often we may see multiple actors playing the same role. On the Young and the Restless as well, there have been several major recasts in the past, including some notable ones in the recent time like that of Chance Chancellor. However, there are some characters on the show that have never been recast to this date, and Kevin Fisher is one of them.
Greg Rikaart debuted on Y&R playing the role of Kevin Fisher in 2003. Fisher was introduced as a series regular and was later dropped to recurring status. Nevertheless, the character has never been recast. From the beginning till now, Rikaart remains the only actor to play the role of Kevin Fisher on Y&R.
