The Youngest Star: Judah Mackey’s Rise to Fame on The Young and the Restless
Judah Mackey joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Connor Newman in 2019 and since then he has been nothing but an adorable actor who we all love. Although he is just 13 years old, the kid has a talent that is not less than any other actor on the set of Y&R. It’s tough to be a young actor in the daytime television industry!
The young performer playing Adam and Chelsea’s son in The Young and the Restless has tackled some heavy scenes.These include dealing with Rey Rosales’s death and discovering that Johnny Abbott is his half-brother. And let us tell you, this kid handled it all like a pro!
But despite his outstanding performances, he didn’t get a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award. And get this – it’s not because he didn’t want one! When a viewer brought up the snub on Twitter, the actor himself responded and said, “I would have loved my work on Y&R to be recognized. Unfortunately, they didn’t submit him for a nomination. He also appreciated and thanked the fans for their support. This should’ve been a shocker as they should’ve submitted him for a nomination, right?

He then also took it to Instagram to address it. On April 28, he wrote, I’ve learned so much from my amazing #YR set mom @missyclaireegan the past 4 years working together. I’m in awe of her incredible talent, especially during this sensitive storyline dealing with mental health. This nomination couldn’t be more well-deserved!”
He also added, “Just to clear things up, my work was never submitted for Daytime Emmy nomination consideration in the Younger Performer category like my peers were. Thank you to my awesome fans for all your messages of support. It means a lot!” He’s so grateful for all the cheers and support that he’s received from his fans, and he’s not letting this setback get him down.

It just goes to show that even when things don’t go our way, we can still choose to focus on the positive and be grateful for what we have.
