Tracey E. Bregman gets new Emmy Award after a wildfire burnt down the original one in 2018
When Tracey E. Bregman appeared on CBS’s The Talk this week, she was supposed to be celebrated for her 40-year run on The Young and the Restless. Little did she know that a big surprise was awaiting her on the talk show’s set. She received a special prize, which left the soap veteran “overwhelmed.” Keep watching for full details.
Tracey E. Bregman won her first Emmy Award in 1985
Tracey is one of the earliest actors to join the Y&R cast who made her debut in January 1983. Most of you may not know this but Tracey’s job at Y&R was supposed to last as long as the 1983’s summer did. However, she ended up being a staple cast member of the show.

Tracey received immense love from the viewers. As a result, she even won the 1985’s Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Ingénue in a Drama Series. This category is known as Outstanding Younger Performer or Outstanding Younger Actress these days.
You may know, in 2018, Tracey’s brand new home got caught up in the devastating Woolsey wildfire that raged through Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Bregman and her family members were able to survive the fire but sadly, she lost everything to the great blaze, including her 1985 Emmy trophy and her late father’s NAACP Award. She also lost her personal photographs, picture frames, her children’s baby books, and the letters she had written to them as children.
Tracey E. Bregman’s TV husband Christian LeBlanc presented her with a new Emmy Award at The Talk
Not everything that Tracey lost in the wildfire could be re-made but the Y&R family gifted her something that compensated her loss, at least to a certain extent. During her latest appearance on The Talk, Y&R star Christian LeBlanc, who plays her husband on the soap, stunned her with a gift that she had never imagined before.
LeBlanc entered the studio with a large box topped with a golden ribbon. Then, to her surprise, he took out an Emmy trophy and handed her the award.
“I would like to present this, an Emmy for Outstanding Ingenue in a Daytime Drama Series,” he announced. “But this time, it’s from the people who love and respect you and cherish you. Your CBS, your Y&R family. And I am so honored to be able to give this to you,” he continued.

LeBlanc later shared a picture of the day on his Instagram where Bergman commented, “Best surprise ever! Thank you for being there and being the one to give it to me. I love you!”
Congratulations, Tracey on receiving your new Emmy. We wish you the best future ahead in your acting career. And we hope to see you continue doing your best on The Young and the Restless.
