Ever since Y & R legend, Eric Braeden, opened up about his cancer, fans have been worried sick about him. While he was declared free of cancer last year, you never know what can happen. Eric Braeden 2024 Health Update
Life hasn’t exactly been a walk in the park for Victor on The Young and the Restless. Battling Jordan, trying to keep the family from falling apart, and now dealing with Nikki’s latest struggle with addiction, it’s definitely been a rollercoaster for him. But if there’s one thing we know about Victor Newman, he’s a force to be reckoned with, strong and unwavering, just like the man behind the character, Eric Braeden.
Now, Eric Braeden has been an open book about his own battle with bladder cancer, from the moment of diagnosis, to the ups and downs of treatment. Finally, the good news came this past August, when he joyfully announced that he was officially cancer-free. In a Facebook live, he said, “So I just wanted you to know, that as of a few days ago, I’m cancer free, and that obviously makes me very happy. I’m in very good hands, the people know what they’re doing, and I am very confident.’
But we know cancer is a sneaky beast, playing tricks on even the toughest souls. The fear of it making a sneaky comeback is always there. However, Braeden, the real-life warrior, took to Instagram with some upbeat news. And how did he do it? Well, he danced his way, grooving to Everything But the Girl’s ’90s hit song “Missing!” So, looking at the video, it was pretty clear that he’s well and thriving. And if the video wasn’t enough for you to believe he is all fit and fine, then he even captioned it, saying, “Feeling better and better. F you, cancer!”

Doug Davidson also hopped in the comments, saying, “I’d hate to be behind you at a stoplight!” So yup, he is cancer free, and it ain’t coming back. Cancer better stay away from Braeden because he won’t be shy to beat it again.
A big applause for Braeden handling this situation like a pro, and it’s honestly great to see him back to his old self, enjoying life once again. And Braeden dancing is definitely our favorite , so, let’s hope we get to see it more. Oh wait, there is more of it. Looks like you’re in luck. Amelia Heinle, who plays Victor’s daughter, Victoria, just dropped a little video of them dancing, and it’s the best. You need to see it.
All’s well that ends well, and let’s hope for more of these happy moments in Braeden’s life. Y & R should probably do a Victor dancing scene in one of the parties. It would be a total hit. What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments below.
