Heartwarming! Eric Braeden is the proudest grandpa

A far cry from his evil character, Victor Newman on The Young and the Restless, Eric Braeden is a proud grandpa. The actor who has been a soap opera powerhouse for decades loves to celebrate and brag about his grandchildren’s accomplishments on social media. In a recent post, Y&R star shared a heartwarming story about one of his grandchildren. Let’s get into the video and see what he has posted.

Eric Braeden has got strong reasons to be proud

Braeden is an ecstatic grandpa who loves to spend time with his grandchildren as much as possible. He loves having fun with them while he’s not busy captivating viewers’ hearts on screen. Eric isn’t shy to cherish all three grandchildren on his social media. He rarely refers to them by their full names and instead uses terms like eldest, second, and youngest.

He took to Twitter to gush about his granddaughter’s achievements in school. He tweeted, “Honor student in MATH and ENGLISH, straight A’s equestrian, surfer…I’m one proud grandfather.” His Twitter followers didn’t take much time to fill up the comment section with congratulatory messages. They wished her good luck for her future and praised her for doing very well in life.

This is not the first time Braeden has praised his grandchildren on social media. Not only are his grandchildren gifted in academics but also in the arts. A couple of months ago, he showed off his second granddaughter’s artwork to his fans and followers, raving over the talent and ingenuity she possessed. He tweeted, “She did a whole book with these drawings and an accompanying story.”

Apart from praising, Braeden loves spotting similarities between himself and his granddaughters. In February 2021, he posted a photo on Facebook of himself alongside his granddaughter who was trying to imitate him. No doubt, they do look similar. Braeden shared that he took that photo shortly after his father passed away.

On the occasion of Women’s day, the proud grandpa shared a post of his granddaughter on his Instagram and wrote, “To my beautiful, bright granddaughter, “HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY”! The future is with you! And thank all the women who fought for equal rights over the decades! So proud of you!!”

Apart from his granddaughter’s achievement, we’ve got some good news to tell you all. Before the holidays, in December 2021, we informed you that  Y&R’s Victor Newman actor underwent knee replacement surgery. Since then, the veteran actor has given several updates on his health and also wrote a heartfelt thank you to the man behind his treatment. We’re glad to tell you that he’s recovering well from the surgery!
