But that’s not all! Melissa’s also been branching out into acting outside of soap operas. On February 19, she took part in a table read for Shades of Violet, a historical family drama based on the novel The Process of Fraying. The film explores the stigma surrounding mental health in the 1940s and features an all-star cast of Hallmark Channel favorites, like Jesse Hutch, Kristoffer Polaha, and Bethany Joy Lenz.

Sure, Melissa was thrilled to take on the role but what made this even more special was that her daughter Sophie, got to be a part of it too. “The best part was Sophie got to read for a character and it was her very first table read. It’s so sweet to get to watch her act and do what she loves, “ she wrote.

But that’s not all. Melissa also gave us a sneak peek of her busy schedule, hinting at a guest role in a great TV series. She’s heading to North Carolina and Los Angeles for filming, but, of course, she teased her followers with a little mystery.

She posted a “get ready with me” on her Instagram reel to share the news, hinting at a couple of exciting projects in the works.

Fans even speculated about a Y&R return or perhaps a Hallmark movie, but Ordway confirmed that she’d be filming a TV show in Charlotte. And we can’t wait to see what’s next for her!

Michael Grazisdei Heartbreaking Family Loss

Now, along with Ordway getting real busy from here onwards, another Y&R star, Michael Graziadei just got his hands full too. After the heartbreaking loss of his beloved dog, Mr. Pancakes, Michael and his family decided to open their hearts to a new fur baby.

“His passing left a hole in our hearts,” Michael shared, reflecting on the bittersweet moment. But in an effort to keep the love flowing, they recently welcomed a new pup, Dr. Rupert Eldon Snarf, into their home. And let’s just say, this little guy couldn’t be more adorable.

Michael posted a precious photo of himself with his new furry friend, who loves treats, naps, and playing with his sister Fudge, as well as tormenting their Pitbull, Marilyn. Honestly, the puppy looks like he’s already settled in perfectly with his new family.

It’s heartwarming to see both of these stars diving into new beginnings, whether it’s with their careers or with family. So, let’s all wish Melissa the very best for her new projects, and Michael for adding a new member in the family, in the comments down below!
