Jordi and Kaitlin Vilasuso pleads to everyone for prayers for their newborn
Pregnancies, as we all know, can be as unique as a fingerprint. For Jordi Vilasuso and Kaitlin, their journey was a rollercoaster of emotions. After facing two devastating miscarriages, the couple announced earlier last year that they were expecting again. However, the joy was met with the uncertainty of premature birth, leading Kaitlin to undergo surgery in September.
After pretty intense surgery, both mother and baby were fine. And although a little early, the baby arrived earlier this year on January 6. Now, less than a month later, the Vilasuso family is facing yet another medical scare related to their newborn, which is why Kaitlin and Jordi have taken to their social media to ask for your prayers.
Parents to two adorable girls, Riley Grace and Everly Maeve, Jordi and Kaitlin welcomed their third daughter back on January 6 this 2024. They had named their new born as Lucy Noelle.

Recently, Kaitlin took to Instagram to reveal that Lucy is currently in need of prayers. “Ah friends.. we come to you coveting your prayers yet again. I feel like all I do is ask you all for prayers or thank you for prayers. I suppose that is just the season we’re in right now,” she wrote, sharing a heart-wrenching photo of their little one lying on the hospital bed.
As per Kaitlin, they found out on Monday that Lucy had RSV [respiratory syncytial virus] and by Monday night she had been admitted to the hospital with difficulty breathing. “On [Thursday], things unexpectedly took a turn for the worse and she was moved to NICU with what the doctors described as a partially collapsed right lung. I am still struggling to believe this as I type,” Kaitlin added.
She went on to plead to everyone to pray with them for miraculous healing of their newborn’s “precious little body.” “We love her so much and just want her home and happy and in our arms,” the mother of three wrote.

Following the post, several of Jordi’s former co-actors have come together to pray for them. “Heavenly Father, watch with us over your child Lucy, and grant that she may be restored to that perfect health which it is yours alone to give; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen,” Doug Davidson commented.
Lauralee Bell wrote, “Many many prayers will be said each day! Please Lord.” Meanwhile, Beth Maitland also wrote, “Prayers rising dear ones.”
So, here’s to the Vilasuso family – may Lucy’s journey be filled with miracles and joy. Let us all pray for her speedy recovery.
