Where Did Sharon Go on Young and the Restless?
Everyone’s favorite actor, Sharon Case, has been MIA from Young and the Restless, and we’re not liking it at all. Sharon Case’s journey as Sharon Collins in Young And the Restless dates all the way back to 1994. Since then, Sharon has been through the wringer on Genoa City, but she’s as tough as they come! Plus, Case as Sharon was just perfect and we wouldn’t have any other way.
When Sharon first popped up in GC with her mom, Doris, Nick was immediately head over heels for her. But at the time, Sharon was with Matt Clark, who when found out about Nick, raped her as a revenge. Nikki Newman had some doubts about Sharon’s intentions, but Sharon proved her wrong.
Then, Matt came along again, causing trouble between Nick and Sharon by spilling the beans about her giving up a baby when she was just 16. It definitely shaked up things, but Nick and Sharon sorted it out like the power couple they used to be. When she was all set to marry Nick, she told him about Matt raping her. Nick goes charging to confront Matt, only to find him dead! Nick gets pinned for murder, but surprise, it was actually another woman he’d assaulted who did the deed.
Fast forward to Sharon getting pregnant, but Nick’s not ready for fatherhood. Sharon was against abortion, but their baby, Noah, came into the world way too early. Then, Grace and Tony tried to comfort Sharon by tracking down her first kid, Cassie. But, plot twist, Noah pulls through, and Grace decides she’ll hang onto Cassie for a bit.
After Cassie’s true identity is revealed, she moves in with Sharon and Nick, but drama hits when Sharon catches Nick cozying up to Grace. Sharon’s left him, but they team up again when Cassie’s biological mom comes back for her. Oh, and Matt’s back with a new face, but Nick shuts down his evil schemes.

Sharon’s rollercoaster continues with a pregnancy scare, doubts about the baby’s daddy, a steamy fling with Diego, and then a confession that rocks her relationship with Nick. Just when they’re patching things up, Sharon was caught smooching with her father in law, Victor! That was the end of their marriage.
Sharon comes back, only to find herself tangled up with Cameron, who’s all kinds of creepy. She ends up killing him in self-defense, but uh-oh, the body goes MIA! Turns out, Cameron’s alive and kicking, seeking revenge. Nick swoops in to save the day, and Sharon’s saga continues. Cassie, her daughter, tragically dies in a car crash, tearing her and Nick apart. She finds comfort in Brad’s arms, and later dates Jack. Things get rocky with Jack, and she turns to Nick again.
Sharon’s got more than just relationship drama; she was blacking out and stealing, even landed in the psych ward, and the famous paternity mess after Faith was born. She didn’t know who the father was, Jack, Nick or Brad. Turns out it was Nick’s. Then, Adam switched her baby with Ashley’s dead one, which she eventually found out. She had a thing with Adam and kept going back and forth with him and Nick due to bipolar disorder. Ultimately, for custody over Faith, Sharon ends up marrying Victor to keep Faith close. Of course, that doesn’t last, and she burns down the Newman Ranch!
Then comes another relationship with Dylan McAvoy, and the whole mess of lying about Sage and Adam’s son, Christian. She also had a fling with Scott Grainger and got involved in a sex ring investigation. Things hit rock bottom when Sharon couldn’t keep living a lie and revealed about Christian’s paternity. She tried to reconcile with Nick but she found out he cheated on her with Phyllis. Then the whole JT drama happened, which I’m pretty sure you guys remember.
But one good thing that came out with the JT drama was Rey. Sharon fell in love with Rey, but her history with Adam keeps causing trouble. She even had breast cancer and got tangled in Adam’s mess once again. Despite all odds, Sharon and Rey tie the knot, but their happiness is short-lived as Faith’s troubles and Adam’s antics keep shaking things up.
Rey even got poisoned, Faith got in a crash, but thankfully, Adam saved her by donating his kidney. She was all about wanting a good guy like Rey, but Adam kept pulling her in. While she’s busy counseling Connor and helping Billy with his things, Rey gets all jealous, especially when Noah shows up. Poor guy was feeling like a third wheel.
While not getting proper attention from Sharon, Rey starts bonding with Chelsea and her son Connor. Sadly, he dies in a car crash, and Sharon was left heartbroken. However, life goes on, and Sharon’s there for Nick and her friends, lending an ear and giving advice. She even helps Chelsea through some tough times and gives her a place to crash.
She even had a small fling with Chance, no strings attached, but decided to let him go so he could find someone who wants to be in a serious relationship. Not to mention, Cameron Kirsten came back and made quite a scene. But that mess too got sorted, and she ended up inheriting Cameron’s company.

Sharon decides to work with Nick and revamp the company in honor of her daughter, Cassie. She throws a great launch party for Cassidy First Technology. Since then, we haven’t seen her except when Jack called her up to ask about Ashley’s personality disorder. The fans have been wondering where she is, and some are even asking if she quit the show or dropped down to recurring status.
But don’t worry guys, we can assure you, that’s not it. If that were the case, the news would be all over the internet, and actors like Case would never go for recurring status. So maybe she’s currently on a much needed vacation. It has been quite a while since she had a break. So maybe she’s taking a breather right now, and will come back to our screens with an awesome storyline.
Stay tuned for more updates!
