The Young and the Restless” stars Courtney Hope aka Sally Spectra and Mark Grossman who plays Adam Newman are two of the hottest names in daytime TV, no doubt about it. Mark joined the cast of Y&R in 2019 bringing on the bad boy reputation on “Y&R” through his character, whereas Courtney took her character, Sally from Bold and the Beautiful and jumped into Y&R.
Now, you can bet your bottom dollar that when you’ve got two smoking hot and talented individuals sharing screen time, things are bound to heat up. And heat up they did. After Sally and Adam kissed for the first time in 2021, the fans couldn’t stop shipping them.. But what really turned heads was the real-life connection brewing between Hope and Grossman. They kept it so hush-hush that nobody knows when it started, or even if it’s ended!
Fast forward to October 2022, and we got what fans are calling their ‘Instagram Debut’. Grossman posted a group snap with a few cast members, but eagle-eyed followers couldn’t help notice Hope being right beside him and speculated about the status of his relationship with Sharon Case.
It was radio silence from both parties about any breakup, leaving fans puzzled. Comments flooded in, like “What happened to Mark and Sharon???” and “I was rooting for Mark and Sharon!” Guess some ships just aren’t meant to sail.

Then slowly we started seeing Hope and Grossman, spending a lot of time together and always together at gatherings and their Halloween post was a big tip off. Come December of that same year, Hope and Grossman jetted off to Tulum, Mexico for some quality time together. Now, that was the confirmation we all needed. That trip made it very clear that they were together and very much in love.
Then, in February 2023, they set the town on fire with a steamy date night at Barton G in Los Angeles. However, things took a curious turn when Hope promptly scrubbed all photos of Grossman from her feed. And there was the Y&R 50th anniversary party drama. They attended the party separately, Grossman brought his mom as his date and Hope brought her friend. So everyone was like, did they call it quits? To make it worse, in the show, Sally and Adam also broke up.
But neither Hope nor Grossman have talked about their relationship or any potential breakup. Their Instagram accounts, on the other hand, is all we need to see. Hope wiped her feed clean of those romantic date night pics with Grossman, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re not still tight, right?. After all, they work side by side and share those intense on-screen moments as Sally and Adam.
After Sally lost her baby, Hope said in an interview, “I just think very highly of him as an actor and he’s a really wonderful person, too. I knew our scenes would be very powerful, and I love how vulnerable he is as an actor. I love what he brings to the table.”
But sadly their relationship came to an end in 2023. Courtney and Mark both also deleted all their pictures from their Instagram which confirmed it even more.

I mean, looks like Mark is indeed a ladies man. He first dated Sharon Case who plays Sharon on Y&R and then moved on to Courtney and now he reveals a new girl. In the 50th Daytime Emmy Awards on December 15, Marked showed up with his beautiful date, which shocked everyone and people couldn’t stop talking about it. Mark and his date, Carrissa Carrillo, were spotted getting all cozy and sexy at the red carpet posing for some pictures.
While we weren’t 100% sure at the time if they were a couple, Grossman’s birthday sealed the deal. On his 37th birthday earlier this month, Grossman decided to go public with his new woman. He posted many videos about how they spent the whole day riding horses together, you know a classic cowboy date.
But sadly, it looks like Mark and Carrissa have also broken up as they have deleted all of their pictures together and have stopped posting each other on Instagram.
