Y&R’s Doug Davidson and Cindy Fisher’s 4 Decades of On and Off Screen Romance!
The Young and the Restless has given the world some of the most beautiful on-screen love stories but that’s not all. The set of Y&R has played cupid and has brought together several actors close in real life as well. One such couple is Doug Davidson and Cindy Fisher. The couple first met on the Y&R set and have been married for the past 39 years.
Cindy Fisher joined the cast of Y&R in the early 80s, two years after Doug made his debut on the show. They starred as on-screen pair Paul Williams and Rebecca on Y&R and began dating in real life shortly afterward. Their onscreen romance was short-lived but in real life, it only got stronger.
Finally, four years after dating, on May 27, 1984, they tied the knot and have since lived a blissful marriage with no glitch ever recorded. Meanwhile, Doug has emerged as an ideal family guy who is a father to two grown-up kids.
