Y&R alum Eva LaRue Makes her Soap Comeback on General Hospital
We have great news for soap opera watchers, especially General Hospital fans, as a new face is coming to town. The Young and the Restless alum Eva LaRue just announced she is making her soap comeback to General Hospital.
If you’ve been watching the Young and the Restless for a while, then you will probably recognize Eva Larue. Or should we say Celeste Rosales? LaRue’s soap opera journey began in 1993 on All My Children, where she portrayed Dr. Maria Santos until 2010, popping in and out of the show over the years. Then, finally in 2019, she made her CBS debut with Young and the Restless as Celeste Rosales. Her role on the show lasted for a short time, but she was so good at it that she even won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Performer. And in case you forgot about Celeste, don’t worry, we have got your back!

So, Celeste was Lola, Rey and Arturo’s mom, who decided to crash her daughter’s bridal shower after getting an invite from Abby Newman. Lola was psyched to see her, but Celeste’s arrival stirred up drama. She couldn’t help poking her nose into every aspect of Lola’s life, especially the fact that Lola and Kyle were shacking up before tying the knot. Lola had enough of her mom’s meddling and kicked her out of the apartment.
Celeste, feeling all offended, tried to rally Rey to her side, but he stuck with Lola. So, Celeste packed her bags and bolted back to Miami, feeling all huffy. However, as the wedding day crept closer, Lola had a change of heart, and begged Jack Abbott to fetch her mom from Florida. Everything seemed smooth until Celeste’s ex, Adrian Rosales, barged in, trying to worm his way back into the family. Thankfully, he didn’t ruin the big day, but Celeste wasn’t about to make nice with him.
After the wedding hoopla settled, Celeste patched things up between her sons, Rey and Arturo, eventually returning back to Miami. That Y&R stint was the last of LaRue’s soaps we saw. And now, she is making a comeback again but in a different show. That’s right! LaRue is joining General Hospital and you can expect to see a lot of her in Port Charles. According to TV Line, LaRue is portraying the role of Natalia Rogers Ramirez, the mother of Jacqueline Grace Lopez’s character, Blaze.

Her first episode will air on Monday, February 26. So you better mark the calendars! Right now, in Port Charles, Blaze is currently in a relationship with Kristina, but she still hasn’t been open with her parents about her sexuality. Plus, she is also scared that it might affect her music career. Now, the big question is whether Natalia will approve of her daughter’s choices or not. Will Natalia accept her daughter for who she is? Or will she disregard her totally? That’s some real drama brewing up, and we are all here for it.
