Mishael Morgan signs Hallmark contract, Leaving Y&R indefinitely?
Looks like Y&R star Mishael Morgan is very popular this year, especially in winter because not one but two of her Christmas movies are out, bringing us the Holiday feels. From Christmas action to Christmas romance, she’s got it all covered.
The beautiful actress, Mishael Morgan, first joined The Young and the Restless in 2013 as Hilary Curtis. Then, from 2019, she has been portraying the character Amanda Sinclair. But sadly in 2022, she left the contract and became a recurring character. Since then, the fans have been desperately waiting to see more of her on screen. Although we don’t know when we will see her on Y&R, one thing is for sure, her films are definitely keeping us company. So, if you have been missing her, then this Christmas you’re in luck. Because she is on our screen with not one but two of her films.
Last month, Morgan announced that her new film, a Christmas action, “SWORN JUSTICE: Taken before Christmas,” was released on November 16. Morgan plays the role of Sophie Porter and stars opposite Leland Martin, who plays D.A. Ty Jarrett. Right after Ty and Sophie start their relationship, suddenly she learns that the other has been abducted! With no phones or anything, they have no choice but to comply with the ominous voice calling the shots if they want to rescue each other.
Morgan said, “It seems like it’s connected to some old undercover cases,” and now, she’s on a mission to track him down and dismantle whoever is behind this chaos.

Mishael Morgan returns with yet another Holiday movie
In an interview with Soap She Knows, she said that this film was totally out of her comfort zone and her first action movie. We haven’t even had a month to let that sink in and appreciate her outstanding performance there, and she is back with another film that is totally opposite to Sworn Justice. Morgan’s new film, a Hallmark Channel Mahogany Original Movie “Christmas with a Kiss” just got released this week on December 3 and let’s just say, she’s got more than one choice when it comes to romance.
Morgan is stepping into the shoes of Mona, a social media guru from the hustle and bustle of NYC. But love hasn’t exactly been a walk in Central Park for Mona lately. Right before the snow starts falling, she ditches the city lights for her family’s farm upstate. Why, you ask? Well, it’s time to get down and dirty with the annual Christmas carnival preparations, a tradition started by her great-grandparents.
But there’s a magical lore within Mona’s family too. Legends have it, a kiss under the mistletoe at the carnival’s closing dance guarantees a lifetime of love. Mona’s folks and her sister Erin found their happily-ever-afters this way, but Mona’s not sold. So, Erin steps in as the determined matchmaker on a mission. While Mona’s decking the halls back home, guess who comes chiming in? None other than her ex, Fletcher, now trading his office job for a firefighter’s hat. Old flames start flickering.
But hold up, there’s another player in this winter wonderland. Dez, a hotshot reporter, rolls into town with his eyes set on her family scoop. As Mona spills her family traditions to Fletcher in a romantic setting, and to Dez for his fancy article for a big shot magazine, things get a little complicated. Mona starts getting some romantic vibes with Dez, but the flames with Fletcher are still burning. Now, Mona’s got not one but two guys fighting for her attention. And just when you think it can’t get crazier, her parents drop a bombshell decision that could change everything. It sure sounds the right kind of holiday romance we love to watch.
What’s even better is that the shooting for “Christmas with a Kiss” took place in Milton, Ontario, which was close to her home. If you guys have watched this movie, you might want us to tell who was meant for Mona, Fletcher or Dez? Let us know in the comments below.
