Y&R star Rory Gibson’s dog Clementine has passed away
Rory Gibson just dropped some heartbreaking news on us, and we can’t even begin to imagine what he must be going through right now. He took to his social media to let us know that his beloved fur baby, Clementine, has crossed the rainbow bridge.
Rory Gibson has been a fan favorite since day 1, maybe it was his handsome looks or his perfect portrayal of Noah. Gibson joined the cast of the Young and the Restless in 2021, as Noah Newman but recently we haven’t seen him on screen ever since Noah moved out. While the fans have been missing Rory on the show, Rory just shared a heartbreaking news of his loved one that he will miss for the rest of his life.
On September 27, Rory took to his Instagram to share the passing away of his pet dog, Clementine. He wrote, “My Love, You stole my heart the moment I saw you. When I think back on my happiest moments, you were there. The pain of losing you is unrelenting. You’re one of a kind. You’re my Girl. You mean the world to me. I love you Clementine. I’ll always love you.” He then added, “I won’t try to understand the cruelties of this world. All I can do is appreciate the fact that I had such precious love in my life, to cause me such heartache.”

If you’ve been following Rory for a longtime, then you know how much Clementine meant to him. In the comments under his post, Gibson revealed about Clementine’s passing and what led to it. He said, “Clementine passed due to heart disease/failure, she was diagnosed about a month ago. She was born with several birth abnormalities, the vet said this was likely genetic.” After this sad news, all his fellow co-stars, friends and fans joined in the comments showering him with love and strength for this difficult time.
Y & R co-star Beth Maitland wrote, “Bless your broken heart honey. I’m so sorry”, Bryton James and Melissa Claire Egan also shared some comforting words, and said that they were sorry to hear about it. Courtney Hope aka Sally felt the pain too, saying, “I’m so sorry… My heart aches for you both.” Tracey Bregman expressed her sympathy, “Oh, honey. I’m so sorry. My heart goes out to you all. Sending loads of love.” Sean Dominic also offered his condolences with, “My condolences, good brother.” And many more.
As we join Rory in mourning the loss of Clementine, it’s important to remember the importance of pets in our lives. After all, they are a man’s best friend. But while Clementine may no longer be with him, her memory will continue to live on in his heart.
