Sheila Carter is alive but who did Steffy Forrester Kill that night?
Sasha Calle’s film debut in jeopardy! Will she return to daytime again?
You may know that Sasha Calle’s new movie, The Flash, is currently in post-production. It completed filming in 2021 and is scheduled to hit the theaters next year. The movie may have been extraordinarily well received in early test screenings but its future remains in jeopardy. Thanks to Ezra Miller, the movie’s lead actor, who can’t seem to stay out of trouble. The non-binary/queer star’s disorderly conducts put their as well as other’s career in peril.
Sasha Calle books a role in an original Supergirl series
Sasha Calle made a big impact on Y&R with her role of Lola Rosales and her storyline of falling in and out of love with Kyle Abbott. Last year, however, she ended her run in the daytime for a thrilling career opportunity. It was hard to see her move on from Y&R but at the same time, we could not have been more proud as she leaped from being a daytime star onto DC Comics’ new Supergirl.
When Sasha first departed Y&R, she was only supposed to appear in DC Comics’ big-screen adaptation of The Flash. Eventually, she went on to land an even bigger project as HBO Max decided to go for the Supergirl original series as well.
What will happen to Sasha Calle’s Supergirl career?
Sasha must surely be ecstatic about her acting career progressing so well. But with a castmate as troubled as Miller, she must also be very worried about her upcoming big-screen debut.
As per the reports, Miller has been arrested many times over the past couple of years, even so more frequently in the past few months. They were arrested for alleged harassment, traffic violation, disorderly conduct, and even had a restraining order taken out against them after a couple in Hawaii accused them of breaking into their bedroom and stealing their passports and wallets in March 2022. The following month, they were once again arrested after reportedly throwing a chair at a 26-year-old woman at a party.
No wonder, Miller’s antics have the entire film team vexed right now. The movie certainly is in peril because of them. Still, Warner Bros. has decided to go ahead with them working in the film since the production is almost complete and is just too incredibly big to just reshoot with a different actor again.

What does this mean for Calle? Will her first movie be doomed before even hitting the screens? News so far state that the movie will stick with its original release plan, which is only possible if Miller does not create any more problems ahead. On the condition that they fail to do so, the movie may be scrapped to be re-filmed. Rest assured, her HBO Max series won’t be affected by the fate of the movie.
Fans who miss her on The Young and the Restless should definitely check out her new series Supergirl when it drops on HBO Max. We will return with updates on its release later.
