5 Facts About Y&R Eileen Davidson’s Husband, Vincent Van Patten

You may know Eileen Davidson’s husband as the commentator of World Poker Tour but long before that, he was also a cast member of The Young and the Restless. In fact, Eileen and Vincent’s romance budded on the Y&R set after their alter egos on the show were set up as a couple. Vincent’s stint on Y&R was short-lived and so was his onscreen romance with Eileen’s character, Ashley Abbott. 1. Famous Actor Dick Van Patten Is His Father

Vince is a member of the legendary Van Patten family. He is the youngest son of a famous Hollywood actor Dick Van Patten and Broadway dancer Patricia Poole. His brothers Nels and Jimmy are both actors while Nels’ wife Nancy Valen is also an actress. His aunt, actress Joyce Van Patten, was married to actor Martin Balsam. And his cousin Talia Balsam was married to George Clooney. Likewise, his uncle, Tim Van Patten is an Emmy-winning television director/producer. 

2. Meeting His Life Partner

In 2000, Vince landed a small stint on The Young and the Restless, and his character, Christian, was paired with the show’s staple character, Ashley Abbott. Christian and Ashley didn’t last very long. But fortunately, the actors did find their true love in each other. They ended up falling in love and finally, on April 15, 2003, they tied the knot. 

3. Vince’s First Wife Betsy Russell

Both Eileen and Vince have had failed marriages under their belts. While Vince was married to actress Betsy Russell for two years, Eileen was married for three years to actor Jon Lindstrom and for one year to actor Christopher Mayor before Lindstrom. Eileen does not have any kids from her previous marriages but Vince has two sons from his wedding to Russell.

With the acting gigs and endeavors like the World Poker Tour, Vince’s estimated net worth is at $2 million. When combined with Eileen, the couple has an estimated $5 million. 

5. Man Of Multiple Talents

Besides being an actor, Vince is a super athlete. A former professional tennis player, Vince is also a good basketball player. “He has more stamina than people half his age. He could pick up any sport and master it. So he’s multitalented,” said Eileen in her interview with The Daily Dish. “Not only is he just hilarious but he’s a weirdo when it comes to numbers. He’s got a weird numbers brain. He’s been a gambler and playing poker all his life, and he’s, like, a mathematical genius,” she gushed in the same interview. Vince learned to play poker from his father at age 14. In his poker career, he has won more than $40, 000 so far.
