Chance stayed away from things like love and affairs for a while after getting cheated on by his wife. Eventually though, he started catching feelings for Sharon, portrayed by Sharon Case, and the rest is history. In The Young and the Restless, Sharon and Chance have been on their A game ever since they started dating. In an interview with the Soap Opera Digest, Floyd opened up about how things go between him and his co-star Case at work. “The more scenes we do, the better we’re getting to know each other. I mean, she’s an Emmy-winning actress, which is ideal for me to work with someone who I not only look up to but also inspires me,” Floyd stated.

And you know what Floyd really enjoys the most about working with Case? It’s the fact that she’s totally down to put in some solid script prep time before they hit the set. He actually cares about the opportunity to sync up with his co-star since rehearsal time is limited. Floyd went on to say, “So it’s nice to get as much time as you can with the other actor or actress to make sure you’re both on the same page.”

He also showed his appreciation of how collaborative Case is, saying, “because one of my favorite parts about acting is breaking it down with your partner and really trying to find the beats of the scenes.” That’s not all.
