Y&R Spoilers: Chelsea dreams of kissing Rey | Gets inspired to take revenge on Sharon

Y&R has been hinting that Rey and Sharon’s marriage is heading for a major shake-up in the coming days. Sharon has been busy focusing on her kids and her ex-husbands while Rey has been feeling like an outsider watching his wife put others before him. On top of everything, Chelsea may shoot her shot at seducing Rey, re-igniting feud with her arch-nemesis Sharon. But will Rey cheat on Sharon? Or will he turn Chelsea down? Chelsea was not expecting to be single after returning to GC

Chelsea returned to Genoa City all hopeful that she would start anew with Adam. But much to her chagrin, Adam had already moved on with Sally Spectra. She tried to win her husband back and reform her perfect family again but nothing seemed to work as Adam seems committed to his new relationship.

With chances of Adam getting back with Chelsea almost zero, Chelsea seems in need of a new love interest now. And the first man that comes to her mind is Rey, the husband of her arch-rival, Sharon.

It hasn’t been long since these two women clashed over Adam. Sharon kept insisting that she cared for Adam only as a friend but Adam struggled to get over his feelings for her. Regardless, he got married to Chelsea but Sharon continued becoming a source of contention for the pair.

Finally, Chelsea did something very criminal which almost got her behind bars. She plotted revenge against Sharon and Adam by poisoning Rey and framing Adam for the felony. As a result, Adam went on a run. But thanks to Victor, he exposed Chelsea.

Chelsea was supposed to end up in prison for risking Rey’s life but she came up with a much evil plan to escape prison time. She faked a mental breakdown and got admitted to Fairview.

Rey had a soft spot for Chelsea from the beginning

Sharon was not ready to forgive her after everything she had done to Rey and Adam. Surprisingly, Rey somehow found it in his heart to forgive the person who almost got him killed.

What’s more shocking is that Rey and Chelsea have become friends now. Spoilers warn that something dramatic might come out of this unexpected friendship as Chelsea seems up for more than just friendship with Rey.

As seen in a recent episode, Chelsea sees a surprising dream where she kisses Rey. Upon waking, Chelsea is confused why she saw the dream, to begin with. She starts questioning her feelings for Rey and will soon find out that she is attracted to him.

As Rey is still married to Sharon, Chelsea may try to fight her feelings initially. But then, she has been single for a long time. So she may eventually give in to this forbidden romance with no regard for Sharon’s feelings. After all, Sharon also kissed her husband once when she was bound to a wheelchair after suffering from a brain aneurysm.

Of course, we have yet to see what Rey’s reaction will be if he finds out Chelsea’s real intentions but fans have already been speculating the possible outcomes of this love triangle.

Many Rey fans are already on board to see him get a compelling storyline by letting him move forward with Chelsea. For a long time, Rey has been quiet and without any drama. So maybe his affair can help show off his other side.

Will Rey’s insecurities lead to him cheating on Sharon?

Rey has a great bonding with Sharon’s kids, and as of late, he has also started getting along with her exes. He could’ve actually ended the marriage when Sharon kissed Adam. But he decided to give their marriage another chance and he has been giving his best to save this relationship. So he may not do anything that risks his and Sharon’s marriage.

However, it may not be easy for Rey to resist Chelsea’s tempting moves. It makes more sense since Sharon has been spending more time with Nick as they help their son Noah Newman get over his tragedy. Rey may feel neglected and may end up seeking comfort from his new friend.

He recently told Sharon that he feels he missed out on the parenting experience while Chelsea is out there showing him adorable pictures of her son. With Adam busy in his new relationship with Sally, Rey may find better opportunities to play the daddy role to Connor. He may ultimately realize that he wants to be a permanent dad to Connor and break things off with Sharon to be with Chelsea.
