A popular character could return to Genoa City and be played by someone who is departing another daytime soap. Rumor has it that we’ll be seeing a different Faith Newman when she returns to Genoa City from college. The role is currently being portrayed by Reylynn Caster, who portrayed Faith as a high school senior when she arrived on canvas. Leaks say that Faith might be getting SORASed, with actress Lindsay Arnold playing the character. Lindsay is 23 and recently exited her role as Allie Horton on Days of Our Lives. What happened to Faith Newman on The Young and the Restless?
Faith Newman is expected to return to town when her father, Nick Newman, determines whether or not Sally Spectra is expecting his kid. An older Faith will naturally be dealing with more adult issues. The prospect of a younger brother whose mother is Sally will undoubtedly not sit well with Faith.
According to the Young and the Restless leak, Lindsay Arnold is interviewing to substitute Faith Newman, but with a wider age difference. Faith might return with her college degree and join the fray of more mature relationships because Arnold is a few years older than the previous Faith, Reylynn Caster. This development would hardly shock anyone as you may recall that Sharon was enrolled in classes for a few months on Y&R before suddenly becoming a therapist.

Aging up Faith would open up several storyline opportunities on the show as she would be old enough to pursue more romance. Fans who expected more from the teenagers on the show expressed outrage since they never had much of a plot other than to worry about their schoolwork and have since left the show.
Moses Winters had a lot of heartbreak in Genoa City over the years, but Y&R viewers liked seeing him return, living with his brother Devon, and having a romantic relationship with Faith before they both left for college. Along with Faith’s return, maybe the writers could bring back Jacob Aaron Gaines as Moses to continue their storyline. The show could also SORAS other kids while they’re at it, like Johnny and Conner, and bring the Young back to the Young and the Restless.
