How many wives has Victor Newman had on Y&R? A complete guide to his 14 marriages
Victor is famous in the soap world for his ruthless business methods and his arch-rivalry with the Abbotts. But that’s not all. There’s one more thing that makes Victor different from the rest – and that’s his ability to get married to almost anyone.
Since March 2013, he has been married to Nikki. But that was his fourteenth time at the altar. When were the other thirteen times he got married? And who were his wives? Let’s find out.
Julia Newman

Julia Newman, portrayed by actress Meg Bennett, was Victor’s first wife. The two came to Genoa City in 1980 as a married pair. Julia was a model and she quickly landed a modeling gig at Jabot Cosmetics. Meanwhile, Victor was working for Chancellor Industries. They split after just one year in the new town as they fell in love with different people.
Nikki Reed Newman

They got married for the first time on April 13, 1984, at The Colonnade Room. Victoria, their first child, had been born out of wedlock. Meanwhile, their second child, Nick, was born when they were divorced. After their first divorce, Victor and Nikki had a one-night-stand, which resulted in the birth of Nick.
The pair eventually came back together and got married in 1998 when Nikki was supposedly dying. In between these years, Victor had already been married to three different women. In fact, he was still married to Diane Jenkins when he married Nikki on her deathbed.
Nikki survived the ordeal, Victor divorced Diane, and once again married Nikki at the Colonnade Room in 2002. They divorced six years later.
Finally, on Y&R’s 40th anniversary in March 2013, they once again married, which is their last on the list so far. It marked the 12th wedding for Nikki and the 14th for Victor.

Leanna Love Randolph

Love Randolph, played by Barbara Crampton, was a reporter/author who wanted to expose Victor. Unaware of her real identity, Victor fell in love with her. They flew to Las Vegas in his private jet and got married there in October 1988. The marriage was declared invalid the following year after Nikki revealed that she and Victor were still technically married.
Ashley Abbott

After Nikki, if anyone has spent the most time with Victor, it’s Ashley Abbott, the sister of his arch-rival Jack Abbott.
The two came close for the first time in the 80s when Brenda Epperson portrayed the role. They had an affair and Ashley became pregnant. But then, Nikki was diagnosed with cancer. So Victor left Ashley and she had an abortion.
Nikki got cancer-free and Victor returned to Ashley and married her in 1990. Having aborted Victor’s baby once, Ashley desperately wanted another kid with him again. She stole his sperm from Diane who also had gotten it from the lab illegally, and artificially conceived. The result of this drama is Abby Newman.
Hope Adams

Victor met Hope, a blind lady, in Kansas while she was trying to escape a rapist. They eventually became romantically linked as they continued living together at her farm. When Victor returned to GC, he took Hope with him and got married to her in 1994.
When Hope became pregnant, the doctor had warned her that their baby could develop retinitis pigmentosa, an illness that caused Hope’s blindness. So Victor wanted Hope to get an abortion.
Hope eventually gave birth to a healthy baby but she could not get over how Victor insisted on her getting an abortion. So she decided to raise the child on her own, away from any influence from the kid’s dad. They finally got divorced in 1995. The baby that Hope raised alone is Adam.
Diane Jenkins

Victor initially wanted to seduce Diane only so he could take revenge on Jack but he ended up falling for Diane for real. They got married in Nevada but they divorced after Nikki asked Victor to marry her while lying on her deathbed. However, in 2011, they once again came closer. This time, they eloped and the marriage ended in an annulment.

Sabrina Costelana

Sabrina was Victoria’s pal from Paris who came to GC in 2008. She came to visit her friend but ended up falling for her dad instead. They got married and Sabrina also got pregnant with his kid. Sadly, before the baby was born, Sabrina died in a car accident.
Meggie McClain

Once in 2010, a bartender named Meggie McClain tried to black widow Victor. She schemed to drug him, fly him to Las Vegas and marry him, then kill him. Victor discovered her plan and turned the tables on her. He fake-married her, got her confession, and sent her to jail.
Sharon Collins

In 2012, Victor had one of the weirdest marriages on Y&R. He married Sharon Collins, his ex-daughter-in-law, who had married both his sons in the past. Initially, they did not have a romantic bonding as Victor only wanted Sharon to look after his assets while he served his prison sentence. However, they ended up becoming romantic.
Next, Victor went missing. After everyone presumed him dead, Sharon even held a memorial for her husband. But he turned up alive and annulled their marriage.
These are all nine wives Victor has had on Y&R. You can watch the video below from our official YouTube to know how big a family tree Victor Newman has expanded on Y&R in the last four decades.
