All Y&R KIDS GONE: Johnny, Connor, Lucy leaving for school AGAIN!

School has started and all the kids in GC have returned to their schools. Meaning we won’t be seeing them anymore. What happened to the young in the Young and the Restless? Make sure to watch the full video to know all about it!

Young and the Restless Kids Back To School

Kids have it tough, just like the adults of The Young and the Restless. They have to deal with their school stuff plus all the dramas involving their parents. Some have to deal with getting kidnapped, others with divorcing parents, and well others always second doubting their DNA.

Now, all the young ones are getting themselves away from the drama and going to school. You know what that means right? No more kids running around and just the old guys doing what they always do, power play, scandals, and all the usuals. 

We had a lot of old cast members returning in the past few weeks and along with them were their kids too, which, by the way, we didn’t get to see much. Starting with Lucy Romalotti played by the actress Lily Brooks O’Briant. Lucy came back with her mom Heather and spent some time with her dad, Daniel. 

Thankfully, Heather gave her a green signal to say a bit more in GC and hang out with her dad. They were all like, “Yeah, Lucy can stay here until school starts.

The writers really need to use some storylines for her too so we can see more of her. We only get to see her for a split second. Since the show is called “The Young and the Restless”, it could use some young energy on the show. The show really needs to bring in the teenage vibe and maybe some drama and teen love, you know what I’m saying? But she is going in a week so goodbye to her as well.

And do you remember that one episode when Lucy was all buddy-buddy with Johnny and Connor? Lucy looked like she was totally into Johnny, and Connor, well, he was doing his usual pouting routine. It felt like they were setting up some juicy storyline there. But now, just when Lucy is in town for her little week-long visit, Connor pulls a “drop everything, Mom” move. 

Connor was getting bullied in his school and all the kids were gossiping about his mom, Chelsea trying to kill herself, and Adam’s fight with Victor. So he couldn’t stay in that school and wanted to move out of GC to another school. He already found himself a new school too and insisted his mom go check it out with him. Since she wants the best for him, Chelsea and Connor are leaving GC too. In fact, they already left so you won’t be seeing Connor from this week until we don’t know when. With that, remains Johnny and Katie Abbott in GC.

Where are Faith Newman and Moses Winters?

But they are going as well because according to Billy, Johnny went back to boarding school with his sister Katie. So, basically, it’s like a big fat nothing. So that’s the last of the young ones. But there was Faith Newman as well but who would want to stay in town after all that she went through? Her cat was killed and then she almost exploded from the bomb tied to her waist. Thankfully, she is safe and went back to college. 

That was it for her and we really want to know what happened to Moses. Are they even together anymore? Because the soap can give her a new love interest and bring her back to town for some major storyline. Plus you know what else would be great, Lucy and Faith being best friends and giving it a little female friendship moments. 

But obviously, the writers are way too busy writing the same story for the same old characters instead of the fresh ones. But Moses is not the only one we are curious about. When will Y&R bring back Lily’s kids, Mattie and Charlie, and what about Victoria’s son, Reed?

Well, we hope to see them soon till then with a sad face we have to say goodbye to the kids. Y&R  should start writing some storylines for the young characters too, don’t you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
