Love at First Sight: Joshua Morrow’s Story of Meeting Tobe Keeney, His Wife of 22 Years

We all know Joshua Morrow as Nicholas Newman on The Young and the Restless who has had some amazing romances on the screen. From Sharon Case to Michelle Stafford and Melissa Claire Egan, Joshua has been paired with various beautiful co-stars on Y&R. Yet again, he hasn’t found his endgame so far. However, Joshua has a beautiful real-life love story of his own where he has been married to his beautiful wife, Tobe Keeney, for the past 22 years.

The start of Forever

Joshua and Tobe began dating in 1996, two years after landing his most successful role as Nick Newman on Y&R.  After dating for five years, the couple exchanged their wedding vows in an intimate ceremony in Santa Barbara, California in 2001. “You throw around unforgettable day quite often, but that truly was. My wife arranged that entire wedding, did it all by herself. I’ve never seen her look more beautiful, more ethereal. She looked like an angel coming towards me, as she came around the corner it was a magical day,” Morrow recalled the day in one of his interviews.

As the couple is on 22nd year of marriage, Morrow still remembers very clearly the day when he first met Tobe. He was 22 when they first met. “It was in a rose garden in Santa Barbara, so I would like to go back to that day and see her in her light blue sundress and fall in love with her all over again,” Morrow said in his interview with Soap Opera Digest. “I told her on the spot, ‘We’re getting married someday,’ and she said, ‘Shut up, you weirdo.’” 

Turns out Joshua’s intuitions were indeed correct. The couple did get married and are now parents to four adorable children. Their first child, son Cooper Jacob was born on September 27, 2002. Another boy, Crew James, was born two years later, the third boy, Cash Joshua, was born on April 21, 2008, and finally, a baby girl named Charlie Jo was born on October 30, 2012. Together, Joshua and Tobe have brought up an amazing family, which Joshua often shows off on social media by sharing cute family times. 

Whether he is enjoying the vacation with his wife and children or giving the kids a ride to school, Joshua loves displaying his daddy duties candidly with his fans.
