Judah Mackey (Connor Newman) leaving Young and the Restless for good! Wild Fan Speculation
Can you believe this little guy is already celebrating a milestone? Yes, you heard it right. Judah Mackey is celebrating his 100th episode in The Young and the Restless. But could this celebration in Y&R be his last before leaving the show? While we hope it’s not the case, there are some things you must know about this little player’s tenure on The Young and the Restless.
Judah Mackey celebrates major milestone
First thing first, big congratulations to our beloved Judah Mackey for playing the role of Connor Newman, the son of Adam Newman and Chelsea Lawson, for a hundred episodes. Mackey joined The Young and the Restless as Connor Newman in 2019, and let’s just say he is totally ace-ing it with style.
In these past years, he has brought a rollercoaster of emotions, as well as talent to the table. Even Judah is having an amazing time playing the little Newman. Besides playing in Y&R, Judah has also played in other several shows and films like American Gigolo, Perry Mason, Darkness Falls, and Deadcon. But can you believe it, there have already been 100 episodes of him in Y&R? And he is thrilled with excitement for reaching this milestone.

The recent episode of August 18 was his 100th episode, and he was ecstatic to share that. He took to Instagram to express his feelings, and gave all of us some behind the scenes on the set. He posted a series of pictures, and wrote, “BTS from my 100th episode on Y&R! I’ve learned and grown so much on this show. Grateful to work with such an amazing cast and crew and be part of the Y&R family.”
He really has grown so much on the show. Some of his co-stars, along with his on-screen parents hopped in the comments to congratulate him on this milestone. Lily Brooks O’Briant also commented, “Wow!! Congrats Judah!!!” But could this be his last celebration in Y&R?

What happened to Connor Newman on The Young and the Restless?
Connor can be seen having some troubles at school lately. He was getting bullied at his school, which made him hate that place. Apparently, a word got around his school about the time when his mom Chelsea was severely depressed to the point of almost killing herself. Moreover, news about his dad’s current war with Victor has also spread like wildfire. Now he doesn’t want to go back to school and is looking for a new school.
In fact, he already has found one. Chelsea is obviously worried and will do anything for her kid, even if it means leaving GC and Billy. Since Melissa Claire Egan is also on her maternal leave, this storyline would fit perfectly for Chelsea’s absence. Connor’s got his plans fixed for his new school away from GC, and all Chelsea and Adam have to do is cut a check. Now the million dollar question: If Connor goes away, when will he return to town?
It is sure that he won’t be coming back anytime soon, and since it’s a soap opera world, Connor might just get aged into a teenager when he comes back, just like what Y&R writers did to young Johnny Abbott, the son of Chelsea and Billy Abbott. Although there hasn’t been any official statement on his exit, his post almost seems like a last goodbye. But one thing is for sure, it is a temporary leave if not permanent.
What do you guys think? Could Judah Mackey be leaving the show forever, or could it be just a temporary break?
